The Nipomo Library has a new Branch Manager, Kim Pendleton. We welcome him and his wife to Nipomo where they recently bought a house. The posted article icludes some biographical information, please take a look.
The winners have been selected for the School-Library Essay Contest and they will be receiving their prizes and reading their essays at the Friends' Annual Meeting on January 15, 2015, at 6:30PM at the Library.
As of January 1, 2015, SLO libraries will no longer have Rental DVDs on the shelves, however, the Friends will continue to purchase new releases. They now should be checked out as Express DVDs for free. Express Books and Express DVDs can now be checked out for a two week period.
The Adult Winter Reading Program began the end of December. The program is always fun and the prizes are nice also.
